The First Law isn't all barbarians, magic and swords...

It also has themes like drunkenness, apathy and self-loathing mostly in the form of Ardee West.

I love this work, shame there is not enough art on this magnificent trilogy. Ardee is one of my favorite characters and Jezal here looks pretty cool!
